I had bought a monitoring app like 6 months ago and it kept showing me nothing for Snapchat. Thought it was broken. Turns out iCloud backup was switched off on my sons phone. He had turned it off to save storage. Once I turned it back on the data started coming through.

Also one thing nobody mentioned, make sure the phone is on WiFi when you want fresh data. iCloud backup does not run on cellular by default so if the phone is never on WiFi the backup is weeks old and your monitoring data is weeks behind too.

Small thing but it makes a big difference in whether the app feels like it works or not
