Okay so this has been eating at me for a while now. I deleted a bunch of TikTok videos a few months back. Some of them were pretty personal, a few were kind of embarrassing, and some just do not represent where I am in life anymore. I thought deleting them would be the end of it.
But then someone mentioned that deleted content does not always disappear from the internet. That got me spiraling. Like, what if someone saved my videos before I deleted them? What if some website archived them? Can deleted TikTok videos still be viewed online by people who want to find them?
I am not talking about anything illegal or anything. It is just content I regret posting and I want to know if deleting from TikTok is actually enough, or if there are ways people can still find and watch those videos. Also wondering about things like cached pages, reposts, or third-party sites that might have grabbed the content without me knowing. Any help would be appreciated.
