Bad news, my friend. Once those messages are deleted, there’s no way you can recover them. Even the Discord API doesn’t keep track of deleted messages, so it’s not worth the hassle.
Well, too bad for you, even Discord itself doesn’t keep a record of deleted conversations. If you are asking from a parent’s perspective, you should have installed Xnspy to keep track of conversations, and the real-time monitoring by Xnspy provides access to even deleted conversations. You can still get it to save yourself from the hassle you will face again regarding Discord chats.
This is what you can do, but it’s not guaranteed that it will work.
If your Discord notifications are on, the message text may still appear in:
● Your phone’s notification history (Android does this better than iOS)
● Old lock-screen banners
On iPhone, this only works if:
The message arrived before it was deleted
● You didn’t clear the notification
● Once cleared, it’s unrecoverable.

● You are in a server, not private DMs
● The bot was already installed
● You have permission to view the logs

This is such a tricky thing. I have dealt with it for quite some time, tried to find a solution, but these random tricks don’t work on the Discord server. Your best bet is getting Xnspy, which monitors Discord activity and logs all the chats onto the web dashboard from where you can access all the chats, even the deleted ones. So if you wanna give it a try, here is the link. 
It’s working pretty well for me, and I can monitor all the chats remotely as well.
This is such an interesting take. I didn’t know you could retrieve deleted chats through these bots. Will give it a try, but it does seem too tech-savvy for me 
Uhg unfortunately, Discord doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t offer any way to access deleted conversations, especially in its mobile app. Once the message is gone from the server, it’s gone forever. For future reference, you can download notifications logging apps like Notisave, but the downside is that these type of apps eats phone battery. I used one, and it started lagging on my phone. But if you don’t want to miss out on any conversation, this is the only way to keep track before the chat gets deleted.
I have personally used Xnspy, and the app did not disappoint me. The only key point is that you need one-time access to the device to download the tool, and after the installation, you can start monitoring the target device remotely. You can even set keyword alerts for specific words, and you will get notified instantly as soon as that keyword is detected on the monitored device.
It’s actually pretty helpful in keeping track of the conversation. Plus, the screen recorder and keylogger aid to this, so you won’t miss out on anything even if the conversation gets deleted afterwards.
First, quick reality check 
Discord does NOT store deleted messages—once gone, they’re wiped from servers permanently . So no magic “recover all” button exists.
BUT… here are some actual tricks that can work if you act smart 
1. Notification Log Exploit (Mobile Hack)
This is the easiest and most underrated trick 
Works because your phone stores message previews before deletion.
Steps:
- Go to Settings → Notifications → Notification History (Android)
- Enable it (if not already)
- Scroll logs → find Discord message preview
If enabled earlier, you can literally read deleted messages from there.
2. Client Cache Timing Trick
Discord temporarily stores messages in local cache memory.
If you:
- Open the chat quickly after deletion
- OR never refreshed the app
You might still see the message briefly due to cached data
This is super time-sensitive (seconds–minutes max).
3. Server-Side Logging (Advanced Setup)
This only works if set up BEFORE deletion.
Use moderation bots (like Dyno, Carl-bot):
- They log messages in a private channel
- Deleted messages stay saved there
No bot = no history. Period.
4. Backup & Sync Method (Underrated)
If you’re really serious:
- Restore an old phone backup (Google Drive / iCloud)
- Sometimes notifications or cached app data reappear
Risky + not guaranteed, but works in rare cases.
5. Audit Log (For Admins Only)
- Shows who deleted + when
- BUT not the message content
Still useful for tracking suspicious activity
Pro Insight (Most People Miss This)
You can only “see deleted messages” if they were captured BEFORE deletion
There’s no backward recovery, only forward tracking.

One thing that lowkey works is keeping Discord open on desktop and avoiding any refresh or app restart. Messages can sometimes linger in local memory for a few seconds, and if you’re quick, you can open browser DevTools, head to the Network tab, and watch the message payloads coming through in real time. If a delete event hasn’t synced yet, you might still catch the content there 
Another trick is using Android’s notification listener system. When enabled, certain apps can store incoming message previews before they’re deleted, since notifications are generated before the delete request hits your device. It’s kinda clutch if you had it set up early 
You can also rely on background screen recording or overlay recorders while chats are active. Not super advanced, but it consistently captures stuff before it disappears. Some users even run Discord in a browser with session logging tools to monitor live data flow. At the end of the day, it’s all about catching data before the delete sync hits, otherwise it’s gone fr 
One thing I’d add here because I see this advice floating around a lot: requesting your Discord Data Package won’t recover deleted Discord messages.
From what I’ve seen while digging through Discord’s own documentation and support discussions, this is probably one of the biggest misconceptions around how to see deleted messages on Discord mobile. People assume the Data Package works like some hidden backup or recycle bin. It doesn’t.
Technically, Discord’s Data Package can include account information and transcripts of messages that still exist on Discord’s systems. But if you manually deleted a Discord message, Discord says that message is no longer stored and therefore won’t appear in your exported data.
So yeah, downloading your Discord data after the fact isn’t some magic recovery hack.
The key difference is recovery vs. prior capture. If a message was already saved through Android notification history, a logging bot, a screenshot, or another authorized logging method before deletion, you might still have a copy. But the Discord Data Package itself won’t resurrect it.
IMO, checking notification history or existing server logs makes way more sense than waiting for a huge data export hoping the deleted message magically shows up.
Here’s where Android vs. iPhone really matters when people ask how to see deleted Discord messages on mobile. 
On Android, you may have a small advantage thanks to Notification History. If it was enabled before the Discord message was deleted, Android can sometimes keep the notification preview even after the original message disappears. On Pixel phones, for example, Google says Notification History can retain dismissed notifications from roughly the previous 24 hours. The catch? It has to be turned on beforehand, and the exact menu path varies across Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and other Android skins.
So technically, you’re not “recovering” the deleted Discord message, you’re reading a cached notification preview that Android already received.
iPhone works differently. 
iOS doesn’t offer the same persistent Android-style notification history. If the Discord notification is still sitting in Notification Center, you might be able to read the preview. Once it’s cleared, though, there generally isn’t a built-in historical notification archive to pull it back from.
That’s the key distinction: Android may preserve notification history; iPhone mostly preserves currently visible notifications.
