Is there any way to view deleted messages on WhatsApp? I know there are plenty of tools that can help retrieve deleted texts, but have you guys used any? Which tool is more reliable?
Yes, it is possible. The main trick is to have a reliable monitoring app installed on the device before the deletion of the texts. This way, the monitoring tool can log the information instantly, and you can access it even after it gets deleted from the target device.

Your options are limited as WhatsApp chats are end-to-end encrypted. Let me explain.
When a message is deleted, it’s removed from the device’s local storage and, if applicable, from WhatsApp’s servers as well. Since messages are end-to-end encrypted, WhatsApp itself cannot read, store, or recover message content for users.
Once the encrypted data is erased and no backup exists, there is nothing left to decrypt. So, I don’t think there’s any workaround. Good luck finding a solution.
There are only two ways to view deleted WhatsApp messages.
First is, if you have a genie and it grants you a wish, lol. 
Second is more of a proactive approach, and that is installing a monitoring tool beforehand so you won’t have to face a problem like this. (I’d go for this solution tbh).

All this talk, but no one is telling the real solution. Before spending money on tools, have you tried checking WhatsApp backup?
On Android devices, message previews are often saved in the notification logs, so you might see the content even if it’s “ deleted for everyone”. Another way is to link their whatsapp on another device.

You can view deleted WhatsApp messages only if a backup exists from before the messages were deleted. WhatsApp restores chats from iCloud (iPhone) or Google Drive (Android) when you reinstall the app and verify your number. If no backup was made before deletion, the messages are permanently gone.
Other indirect methods:
Notification history (Android only): If message previews were enabled, parts of deleted messages may still appear in notification logs.
Linked devices: If WhatsApp Web/Desktop was open at the time, messages may remain visible until the session refreshes.
You can tap the “restore chat history” given on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp has its own backup server, so anything that’s being backed up on WhatsApp can be retrieved if it’s in the latest backup. Go to settings, hit the backup option, delete WhatsApp, reinstall it, and you will get an option to “restore chats”. Through that, you can retrieve deleted texts.
